- ยท Quiet hours after 22:00 โ walls are thin in old Taipei neighborhoods, and your neighbors are locals.
- ยท Leave trash in the bins provided in the room โ we handle Taiwan's sorting system, you don't have to chase the musical garbage truck (though it's fun to watch).
- ยท Check-out: just close the door behind you. The keypad locks automatically.
๐ Getting Around from Longshan Temple MRT (blue line)
First stop at any MRT station: get an EasyCard (ๆ ้ๅก) from the information counter or any convenience store โ it works on MRT, buses, and even 7-Eleven.
- ๐๏ธ Ximending โ 1 stop (2 min). Shopping, street food, cinema district.
- ๐ Taipei Main Station โ 2 stops (5 min). Transfer here for HSR (high-speed rail) and the Airport MRT.
- โ๏ธ Taoyuan Airport โ 2 stops to Taipei Main, then Airport MRT Express (35โ38 min ride). Allow ~60 min door-to-door. Airport trains run ~05:30โ23:00.
- ๐ผ Taipei 101 โ 2 stops to Taipei Main, transfer to the red line toward Xiangshan, get off at Taipei 101/World Trade Center (~25 min total). One more stop = Elephant Mountain for the classic skyline hike.
- โฐ๏ธ Jiufen โ MRT to Ximen, then bus 965 direct to Jiufen Old Street (~75 min). Tap EasyCard on and off.
- ๐ Huaxi Street Night Market โ no transit needed, 3โ5 min walk from your room. See the Food Map for what to eat.
